Fellowship

Soup Supper

An annual event held at the beginning of the Lenten Season that offers an opportunity to nourish the body, mind and spirit. (Sunday) Evening Prayer is held in the Guild House library at 5:00 p.m. followed by a homemade soup supper in the dining room.  Parishioners provide the meal that includes delicious soups, breads, desserts and beverages.  It is a beautiful opportunity for an evening of prayer, food & fellowship.

Parish Picnic

In August each year parishioners gather on a Thursday evening for the annual parish picnic.  Hamburgers, hot dogs and beverages are provided and parishioners bring a side dish, salad or dessert to share.  There are games and activities for children and sometimes a spot of entertainment.

House Mass Series

On an occasional basis the Rector  holds House masses at the homes of parishioners where small groups meet for worship, refreshments and conversation about various topics such as prayer and spirituality.  Most recently this was done on Thursday in Lent of 2011.

Lenten Suppers

Lenten Suppers have been held in the past each Thursday evening during Lent.  Evening Prayer and the Eucharist are held in new St. Mary’s Church, followed by a Lenten Supper and a talk by the Rector.  This is an opportunity to join with fellow parishioners in worship, shared fellowship and a chance to learn more about the meaning of Lent. The topic for the Lenten season is selected by the Rector.
